West Plains Schools all in town school buildings were under a “soft” lockdown very briefly Friday (3/8/19) afternoon due to a prisoner escaping at the courthouse. The soft lock down was lifted shortly thereafter. This was a precautionary matter only. The incident occurred around 2pm.
