A man escaped custody Friday afternoon in West Plains 18 year old Wesley James Floyd Hanger was in court and then fled from police on Aid Avenue. Because of the escape the West Plains R-7 Schools and Missouri State West Plains Campuses were both put on a soft lockdown for about 10 minutes. Authorities say Hanger is not considered dangerous
