Two Licking residents were arrested last week on drugs and weapons charges. 40 year old Christopher Hawkins and 28 year old Cora Smith were both arrested after officers found pre-packaged bags containing meth, syringes, marijuana, cigarettes, scales, measuring devices and morphine pills and a gun. Both were arrested for delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of a weapon, possessing a weapon and a felony controlled substance, armed criminal action and possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana. Probable cause statements will be forwarded to the Texas County prosecutor seeking formal charges.
