A woman from Plato was injured in a two vehicle accident Monday evening on U.S 63 at Morton Road. The Highway Patrol reports that 56 year old Valerie Beck suffered moderate injuries when she attempted to make a u-turn in front of a tractor trailer and was hit by the truck. Beck was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened around 6:45 Monday evening.
