A Bakersfield man accused of making verbal threats to shoot up the Bakersfield School has been placed on two years probation. 20 year old Derek Beaver was charged with felony first degree terroristic threatening. Beaver entered an Alford plea and was sentenced to two years probation with the condition of counseling. He was also ordered not to have any contact with the Bakersfield School.
