Boy Scout Donates Picnic Tables To Fulton County Fair Association

Jarod Casady of Cherokee Village, a member of Boy Scout Troop 639, and his fellow Scout members recently built and donated 6 picnic tables to the Fulton County Fair Association for at the fairgrounds and for events at the Salem Civic Center. Scout leader Sean Sanders coordinated the construction of the tables and the group and their leaders spent Saturday building the tables and they were delivered to the fairgrounds Sunday afternoon.  B & B Supply, located in Highland, Franklin and Pineville, donated a portion of the materials for the tables and the Fulton County Fair purchased the remaining materials needed.

Boy Scout Troop 639 is made up of members from Highland and Salem Schools. The project helps the Scouts earn merit badges and gives them community service hours.
