A man from Batesville faces charges after he allegedly drove his truck off the road and hit three sheriff’s department vehicles in the parking lot of the Independence County Sheriff’s Department. 47 year old Robert Cherry was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The damage to the vehicles was estimates at $5,804.11. He also hit three signs. Cherry has been charged with first degree criminal mischief. Bond was set at $5,000
