A Gainesville woman was in court last week and pleaded guilty to second degree assault in connection with a shooting that happened in September of 2017. 45 year old Angela Brake was sentenced to 4 years suspended sentence and 5 years supervised probation. She allegedly shot a man in the leg during an argument. She allegedly told the police that the man came toward her agressively and she shot him in the leg.
