The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department has had a couple of busy weeks, during te weeks of March 10 through the 24th. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department answered 172 calls for service and has had 22 arrests and bookings. On Monday the Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a stolen 1995 Chevy Truck that had been taken from the same area as that of a side by side and several other stolen items that were found last week in eastern Douglas County. Brandon Murphy is wanted for questioning in relation to several thefts in the area. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department has been working with Howell County Sheriff’s Office.
