A man from Midway who is facing charges in three counties has pleaded guilty to charges of having inappropriate sexual contact with his brother’s 12 year old daughter. 46 year old Raymond Scott Chappell pled guilty to second degree sexual assault in Washington County. He also faces charges in Baxter and Izard County. In Izard County he faces charges of Criminal trespass, criminal mischief and possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. In Baxter County he faces drug related charges including trying to bring pills into the jail, Chappell will be in court in Baxter County in May and will in Izard County a mental evaluation has been requested.
