
There were two fatality accidents in Lawrence County this weekend. Late Friday night a teenager, who’s name has not been released was killed in an accident in Walnut Ridge. The teen was killed when a vehicle driven by 32 year old Joseph Huddleston of Pocahontas crossed the centerline and hit the vehicle the teen was driving. The accident happened on U.S 67 south of West Fullbright Ave.
Then Saturday 21 year old Zachary Brooks of Bono was killed and 54 year old William Brooks was injured when the vehicles driven by each man were traveling north on highway 63 at a high rate of speed when Zachary Brooks attempted to veer left across all lanes of traffic and was struck by the vehicle that William Brooks was driving.
