The Highway Patrol Arrests Two In Carter County Friday

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a couple of felony arrest in Carter County.  Friday afternoon, 34 year old David Simpson of Van Buren was arrested for felony possession of meth and for no seat belt. He was cited and released. Then 31 year old James Cummings of Van Buren was arrested for felony failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, driving while suspended third offense, and following to close and no insurance. He was taken to Carter County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
