A Batesville man was arrested after authorities served a search warrant at a residence on Broadwater Lane. 38 year old Trevor Devon Briggs was arrested and charged after officers found a large amount of cash, a green leafy substance suspected to be marijuana, handguns, drug paraphernalia, 2.5 ounces of a white crystalline substance suspected to be meth, pills, ammunition and a rifle. The handguns had been reported stolen. Briggs is charged 11 felonies including, theft by receiving, maintaining a drug premises, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, and possession of firearms by certain persons, possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence and criminal use of prohibited weapon. His bond was set at $20,000.
