The Thayer Police Department collected over 140 pounds of unused, unwanted or expired prescription medications during the DEA’s 17th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The next drug take back day will be scheduled at a later date for sometime in October.
Drug Take Backs were also done at The Mountain Grove, Cave City, West Plains, and Highland POlice Departments and at Sheriff’s Offices in Howell, Baxter, Izard, Ozark, Douglas and Shannon Counties
