A Gassville Arkansas Man has been charged with attempted murder. 27 year old Justin Lee Thompson was charged after allegedly shooting a woman at point blank range Monday. The victim, 27 year old Sarah Orms was unable to answer questions about the incident. Thompson and a witness told authorities the gunshot was self-inflicted. But when Orms woke up she told them that Thompson had shot her. Thompson is facing charges of criminal attempt to commit murder, tampering with physical evidence and possession of firearms by certain persons, and misdemeanor charges of interference with emergency communication and endangering the welfare of a minor. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
