Three people suffered minor injuries in a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon west of West Plains. 36 year old Samantha Melvin and 11 year old drew Melvin both of West Plains and 32 year old Justin Gerdes of Pottersville all suffered minor injuries when the vehicle that Samantha Melvin was hit from behind by the vehicle that Gerdes was driving as Melvin slowed to make a turn. All three were taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on highway K, about 2 miles west of West Plains.
