A Gassville man accused of shooting his girlfriend was scheduled to be in court Thursday but was not because he is now at a mental health treatment center. 27 year old Justin Lee Thompson was arrested earlier this week for shooting 27 year old Sarah Orms in the chest. he first told police that she shot herself. but when she regained consciousness , she told police he shot her. Both Thompson and Orms had been arrested previously on drug related charges and were both on probation. Thompson’s bond is set at $255,000. Thompspn remains in the Treatment center.
