The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the arrest of a man from Iowa. Early Monday morning the sheriff’s Department received information about a side by side being wrecked off a creek slab on county road 523. Around the same time they also took a call of a shed being burned off west highway 76. A third call came in saying their side by side was missing. After some investigation and after speaking with the Ozark County sheriff’s department a manhunt ensued. Tips on Facebook led the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department to north highway 5 where they arrested 29 year old Timber Hamilton of Iowa. Formal charges are pending.
