The Kansas City Chiefs have signed free agent tightend John Phillips. The 6-5 250 pound Phillips has played the last three seasons in Denver, New Orleans and Arizona. He was drafted in the 6th round in 2009 by Dallas and has 58 career catches, for 428 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The Chiefs also announced that they have released Dontae Johnson.
