A Lakeview Arkansas man who was convicted in 2016 on charges of in connection with the rape and torture of a woman, has filed for post conviction relief. 57 year old David Gengler was sentenced to 33 years in prison after entering a no contest plea, but now says his lawyer did not explain the consequences of entering the plea. Gengler is being held in the Arkansas Department of Correction’s Grimes Unit In Newport.
