A man from New York was arrested by the Highway patrol in Howell County Monday. 37 year old Luke Smith was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, 10 grams or less, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended and speeding. Smith was taken to Howell County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
