Police in Thayer have been busy today with a couple of accidents at the intersection of Highway 63 and 19 north in Thayer. The First accident happened just before noon when two vehicles hit head-on, The driver of vehicle number 1 was taken by air-evac to a Springfield Hospital, the passenger in vehicle number 1 was taken to Ozarks medical center and then passed away. The driver of vehicle number 2 was also taken to Ozarks Medical Center. No names are being released at this time.
The second accident happened around 3, it was a two vehicle accident and resulted in only minor injuries. Again no names have been released at this time.
