Two people were injured in a two vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Alton. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 90 year old John Barton of Alton and 74 year old Harold Pierce of Mammoth Spring both suffered moderate injuries when Barton pulled into the path of the vehicle that Pierce was driving. Both men were taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. The accident happened on highway 19 at highway HH just after noon on Sunday.
