FCC Approves Funding For Broadband In North Central Arkansas

The Federal Communications Commission has announced that they have authorized funding over the next ten years to expand broadband to over 6,000 unserviced homes and businesses in Fulton, Sharp, Baxter, Izard, Stone and Marion Counties. $22.6 Million will be allocated for the project in theses counties. The FCC will be authorizing additional funding as it approves final applications of the winning bidders.
