Six people were injured in a two vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on highway 63 north of Koshkonong. The Highway Patrol reports that 19 year old Ryan Gari and 20 year old Cameron Ruff both of Republic, 28 year old Melissa Allen, 6 year old Jasper Mercado and 9 year old Riley Mercado all of Peace Valley and 49 year old Marilynn Bettigrew of Alton all suffered minor injuries, when Allen stopped the vehicle she was driving to make a turn and was hit in the rear by a vehicle driven by Ruff. All six were taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. The accident happened around 1:20 Tuesday afternoon on highway 63 about two miles north of Koshkonong.
