A man from Thayer will be in court for a hearing next week after he allegedly caused damage to both the West Plains and Howell county jails.35 year old Aaron Troy McIntire was arrested earlier this month and was being held in West Plains jail awaiting transfer to Howell county jail when an officer noticed the kick plate on his jail cell had been damaged. He reportedly broke a window in a holding cell in Howell County. McIntire has a history of arrest. He entered a not guilty plea to charges on possession of a controlled substance on June 10th and is set to go to court June 28th for a preliminary hearing.
