A Gainesville Man Faces Felony Drug Charges

A Gainesville man has been arrested on felony drug charges. Police say that 63 year old Tony Lee Shores was pulled over for a license plate light and appeared nervous, so the officer’s  K9 conducted a sniff of the vehicle and alerted the officer. During a search of the vehicle the officers found a white crystalline substance that tested positive for meth, a glass pipe and marijuana along with three handguns. Shores is charged with felony  possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; felony  possession of drug paraphernalia for use of ingesting methamphetamine; and felony simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms; along with misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana; and driving while intoxicated, drugs. His bond is set at $10,000.
