A Mountain Home man has been arrested in connection with a the beating of a Gassville Man. 19 year old Jonathan Cole Smith was allegedly one of three people that beat a Gassville man and stole items from his house. Steve Niziol was arrested last week, he was in court last week and entered a not guilty plea and authorities are still searching for Jessica Wuest. Smith was arrested by Arkansas State Police and is charged with felony kidnapping, felony aggravated robbery, felony theft of property, felony terroristic threatening, felony possession of a firearm by certain person, felony theft of a firearm, felony first degree battery and felony residential burglary. He was taken to the Baxter County Detention Center.
