The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reporting the arrest of a man from Birch Tree late last night. 70 year old Gerald Willard was arrested for felony third degree assault special victim, felony resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated , speeding, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was taken to Shannon County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
