Two Doniphan residents were arrested by the Highway Patrol last night in Ripley County. 38 year old Candace Scott was arrested on a Ripley County Warrant for Failure to appear for failure to register a motor vehicle, a Butler County warrant for Failure to appear for a non-moving traffic violation, felony possession of a controlled substance, meth, felony first degree endangering the welfare of a child, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Ripley County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold. 27 year old Lewis Kramer was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance meth, unlawful use of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Ripley County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
