Authorities in Lawrence County are investigating a deadly shooting that happened earle Saturday morning in the Lake Charles State park near Powhatten. Police were dispatched around 3:30 Saturday morning and found one person dead from apparent gunshot wound. One person was taken into custody for questioning. No names have been released at this time.
