Three people were injured in an accident east of West Plains Sunday afternoon. The Highway Patrol says that a pickup driven by 21 year old Angela Bridges attempted to pass another vehicle on a curve and hit a tractor as it was turning into an approach. A Passenger in the pickup, 21 year old Dalton Bridges suffered moderate injuries and two people on the tractor, 45 year old Merideth Hopkins and 36 year old Shawn Thompson both suffered minor injuries. All three of the injured were taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on U.S 160 about 4 miles east of West Plains around 1:12 Sunday afternoon.
