A West Plains man’s trial has been moved to Carter County. 27 year old Robert Eric Mattes Jr is facing felony charges of first degree involuntary manslaughter and DWI resulting in serious physical injury. Mattes was involved in an accident last year in Howell County where he hit a UTV, injuring 49 year old Ricky Ledbetter and killing 49 year old Candy Gilliam both of West Plains. Mattes has been granted a change of venue from Howell to Carter County.
