A woman from Alton suffered serious injuries in an accident north of Alton Sunday morning. The Highway Patrol reports that 77 year old Donna Caruthers suffered serious injuries and 94 year old Betty McGuire suffered minor injuries when Caruthers drove off the road and hit a tree. Both women were taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on county road 105 about three miles north of Alton.
