The Missouri State Highway Patrol has now released the name of the man that was shot and killed Friday in an officer involved shooting near Mountain Grove. 58 year old James Pinkston of Norwood was killed after allegedly pulling a gun and shooting at officers, wounding a Wright County Deputy. The name of the deputy that was injured has not yet been released.
