A man from Birch Tree was killed in a head on collision Monday afternoon and two other people were injured. The highway Patrol reports that 53 year old Roemer Whitworth was killed when he crossed the centerline and hit a vehicle driven by 51 year old William Shaw of Couch. Shaw suffered minor injuries and a passenger in his vehicle, 42 year old Christy Carr of Willow Springs suffered moderate injuries. They were both taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on highway 19 about 3 miles north of Winona.
