A Benefit dinner and auction was held this past Saturday for Izard County Sheriff Earnie Blackley. The Event was a big success with around 1,000 people attending and raising over $60,000. Sheriff Blackley was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Sheriff Blackley has had two chemotherapy treatments so far and is schedule to have another treatment later this month.
