The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident on Monday, after the victim sought help the Sheriff’s office. A man hunt ensued leading authorities into Webster county where the subject and vehicle were both located. 26 year old Ronald Roberts, of Ava, was taken into custody and has been charged with Assault Felony B and Armed Criminal Action. Bond has been set at $25,000 cash only. Roberts is still incarcerated at the Douglas County Jail.
This subject and vehicle was also used in an assault at the Ava Sonic which the Ava Police Department will be seeking charges on.
