A teenager from Pevely Missouri drown Tuesday on the Current River in Shannon County. The Missouri highway Patrol says that 16 year old Trenton Crane was attempting to swim across Blue Springs on Current River and became fatigued and inhaled water, he was unable to resurface. The drowning happened around 3:40 Tuesday afternoon.
