A new report from CBS news says that highway 63 is the deadliest highway in Missouri. In the past year there were 11 fatalities on highway 63, 8 happened in the Highway patrol’s Troop G area. 8 people were also killed in Troop G in 2018 on highway 63. Overall in Troop G this year the number of fatalities is down by 39 percent. Highway 63 runs from the Arkansas/Missouri Border in Thayer to the Missouri/Iowa border.
