Douglas County Sheriff’s Department reports that a man wanted in Arkansas was shot by law enforcement on Tuesday. According to reports two deputies went to a home on highway 14 east of Ava. When they went to the door a man brandished a weapon, the man was shot in the arm. He was taken to a Springfield Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The shooting is being investigated by the Webster County Sheriff’s Department with assistance by Green County.
