Prosecutors are saying they will seek the death penalty in the murder of former Arkansas State senator Linda Collins Smith. District attorney Henry Boyce released the information before the hearing Tuesday afternoon for 48 year old Rebecca O’Donnell who is charged with capital murder, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse. According to the affidavits released Tuesday. the former State senator was stabbed multiple times and Collins Smith’s son and father found her wrapped in a blanket and hidden under a tarp outside her home in Pocahontas. the affidavits also say that video from that day show O’Donnell removing cameras from inside the Collins-Smith Home.
