A man from Ava was injured in a motorcycle accident east of Ava Wednesday night. 58 year John Swainston suffered moderate injuries when he drove off the road and hit a ditch and overturned. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Missouri 14 abot 12 miles east of Ava.
