A West Plains man was arrested by the highway patrol Saturday night on drug charges. 38 year old Jesse Painter was arrested on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance meth, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, no insurance and failure to register a vehicle. He was taken to the Howell County jail then released.
