An Independence County woman has been charged with domestic battery involving a child less than 12 years old. 26 year old Katie Jo Moser was arrested after her daughter told authorities that Moser had grabbed her by her hair and banged her head on the floor. Moser allegedly told authorities that the girl had walked into a post on the porch. Moser is charged with felony domestic battery. She is also charged as an habitual offender being convicted of 4 or more felonies previously. Her bond was set at $20,000.
