Two West Plains teens were injured, one of them seriously in a one vehicle accident Tuesday evening south of West Plains. The Highway patrol reports that 15 year old Makayla Lucas suffered serious injuries and 16 year old Emily Kenslow suffered minor injuries when Kenslow failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road and hit a tree. Lucas was taken by Air-Evac to Cox South in Springfield and Kenslow was taken to Cox South by ambulance. The accident happened on county road 8530 about a mile south of West Plains.
