A man from Birch Tree was injured in an accident early this morning west of Birch Tree. 37 year old Robert Brewer suffered minor injuries when he drove off the road and hit a ditch. Brewer was also charged with driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident and no insurance. He was taken to Ozarks Medical Center,. The accident happened on county road 461 about one mile west of Birch Tree.
