Attorneys for Harps Food Stores have allegedly filed a motion to have claims dismissed against Harps in a Lawsuit charging the company with illegally selling a handgun in Mountain Home in 2015. In November of 2015 Nicholas Roos and Taimadge Beigh Pendergrass allegedly bought the gun at the Harps Store on highway 62 east. The gun was later allegedly used in the shooting deaths of Donald and LaDonna Rice. Several out of state lawyers have been admitted to practice in Arkansas for this case. The trial is scheduled to begin on June 1st in Washington County Circuit Court. The suspects involved in the shooting have already been sentenced.
