Two West Plains residents were killed and another seriously injured in a two vehicle accident early Sunday morning. According to the Highway Patrol report a vehicle by 17 year old Cailey Stowers was southbound in the northbound lane on highway 63 and hit a vehicle driven by 21 year old Vladik Nadtochayev head-on. Both drivers were killed and a passenger 19 year old Viktor Vyrochtchtkov suffered serious injuries and was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on highway 63 about a half mile north of West Plains around 12:15 Sunday morning.
