Four Birch Tree residents were injured in an accident Tuesday morning south of Birch Tree. The Highway Patrol reports that 16 year old Terri Richardson drove off the road and hit an embankment and overturned the Jeep she was driving. Terri Richardson and three passengers, 14 year old April Richardson, 12 year old Riley Richardson and 15 year old Kasey Lewis all suffered moderate injuries. All four were taken to Mercy Hospital. The accident happened on county road 629 about 6 miles south of Birch Tree.
